Eye cancer is an extraordinary disease. Primary cancer that starts in the eye is rarer than cancer that starts in any other part of the body but then spreads to the eye.
The most common form of eye cancer found in adults is melanoma of the iris, ciliary body, and choroid, which is diagnosed in only 5 out of 10 million people each year.
There are two types of eye cancer if seen in detail. The first that originates in structures inside the eye and the second that occurs in the supporting tissues like the surrounding eyelids.
It has often been observed that eye cancer is not diagnosed at the right time because the patient does not feel any kind of a pain in it.
The common symptom is a gradual weakening of a person's ability to see. Talking about external signs, it contains bulges in the pupils of the eyes and some types of lumps in the structures around the eyes.
Ophthalmic tests, blood tests, and imaging techniques are used to diagnose eye cancer. The definitive treatment can be either surgery or radiotherapy.

What is eye cancer
The uncontrolled growth of cells that starts inside the eye and starts growing there is called eye cancer.
These cells differ from normal cells because their growth is uncontrolled and hence they are called abnormal or non-normal cells.
In some cases, it can also extend beyond the eyes to other parts of the body. So at the same time, it can also be reversed in some cases,
That is, abnormal cells of tumors present in other parts of the body may accumulate in the eye or try to penetrate into the eye.
Types of eye cancer
Depending on where the eye cancer has started and how it spreads, the type of eye cancer may vary.
Ocular melanoma: It is the most common type of eye cancer in adults. Melanoma, a malignant tumor, is produced in cells that are involved in the formation of pigments in various parts of the body, including the eyes.
This damage begins in the choroid of the eye, which contains these choroid cells. Melanoma related to uvea (one of the three eye surfaces) is known to be the most fatal and primary eye cancer in adults.
Primary endocrine lymphoma: This is a type of damage involving white blood cells called lymphocytes. It is commonly seen in immune patients with HIV-AIDS.
Retinoblastoma: This is the most common eye damage in children. Posterior retinoblastoma
